These range from projects where we purely provide sets of uplifting photographic wall artworks for hospital wards and health centres to a full design service which also included building branding, interior colours, furniture specification and signage.
Below are a range of our latest projects, including hospital wards, residential mental health facilities, care homes and GP practices.
In 2022 two floors of this Chelsea Town House underwent a change of use and a major refurbishment to become part of the Violet Melchett Health and Wellbeing Hub.
This Grade II listed building, built in 1930, is the former home of the Violet Melchett Infant Welfare Centre. In 2022 a major refurbishment was undertaken to create a new Violet Melchett Health and Wellbeing Hub.
The Violet Melchett Health and Wellbeing Hub opened a new site within the Earl's Court Health and Wellbeing Centre in late 2022 to work alongside an existing NHS GP and dental practice.
We chose imagery to create a positive environment as clients climbed the stairs to begin their appointment. This effect was also important as clients exited the building after their appointment too.
“Just hearing the amount of positive comments about our new photos really makes you think about how something as simple as this, can be so important for the staff and patient experience.”
This newly renovated 56 bed ward required a large set of 32 Wellbeing Windows photographic artworks. These were positioned throughout the ward’s internal corridors, bed bay entrances and around the relatives' waiting room.
The centre had been completely refurbished 18 months ago. Modern paint colours had been used in the corridor and communal areas. All therapy rooms had been decorated in the traditional magnolia and white.
Alan Morkill house is a 50 room care home over looking Memorial Park. It is a large property spread out over four floors and each level has its own lounge and dining room for residents to use during the day.
This older, more compact, 32 bed ward needed help. It also featured four individual side rooms, multiple corridor work stations, a windowless relatives waiting room and two internal, windowless offices for the Ward Sister and doctors.
This acute adolescent mental health ward was established in 2013 to care for young people who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
Wellbeing Windows can put together image sets to any relevant theme, from local area landmarks through to nature or activity based imagery.
